Chronologie de l'entreprise
2008
Groupe BR Métal a été fondé en 2008 à Dolbeau-Mistassini par Monsieur Robin Boulianne
Ingénieur en génie industriel, à partir d’un contrat de sous-traitance d'une entreprise de la région de Montréal. La jeune PME a commencé modestement mais aujourd’hui son expertise est reconnue et ses clients proviennent de partout au Québec. Elle a su se distinguer au cours des dernières années en obtenant et sauvegardant d’importants contrats de sous-traitance de fabrication industrielle de toutes sortes auprès de grandes entreprises mais également en réussissant à diversifier sa production.
2013
L’entreprise crée la division, Mobilierpublic.com
une gamme de mobilier urbain destinée au marché des ICI (institutions, commerces et industries). Les îlots multimatières en aluminium de Mobilierpublic.com connaissent un véritable succès auprès des villes et municipalités du Québec. L’entreprise se fait immédiatement reconnaître en tant que fournisseur officiel auprès de La Table pour la récupération hors foyer du Québec. Cette dernière offre un programme d’achats d’équipements fort avantageux pour les villes et municipalités qui en font la demande. Mobilierpublic.com, bien appuyée par ses divisions BR Industries et BR Peinture Industrielle, développe et fabrique d’autres produits en aluminium au design contemporain tel des clôtures, des tables de pique-nique, des bancs de parcs, des supports à vélo, etc.
2015
Produits Aluco
Ses dirigeants font une acquisition majeure en achetant les actifs de l’entreprise Produits ALUCO spécialisée dans la transformation de produits en aluminium tels que des coffres utilitaires, des marchepieds et des protège-cabines pour camions et camionnettes.
L’acquisition d’Aluco, le développement des nouvelles lignes de produits, les nombreux contrats de sous-traitance commerciaux et industriels... tous ces changements, combinés à l’étape de maturité de l’entreprise, ont amené ses actionnaires à tripler la superficie de l'usine afin de maximiser sa ligne de production regroupant les opérations de ses quatre divisions.
2022
Groupe BR Métal investit 2,3 M$
Le Groupe BR Métal investit 2,3 M$ dans l’agrandissement de ses installations de la rue Gustave-Dessureault et dans l’acquisition d’équipements industriels de la plus récente technologie. L’entreprise en croissance ces dernières années, va ainsi doubler sa capacité de production tout en diminuant ses coûts de production.
